Privacy policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026. This page covers the Hexgar Portal used by invited clients. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who this covers

This policy explains how Hector Garcia (Hexgar) handles information in the Hexgar Portal. The portal is a private workspace for invited clients to review their AI audit, roadmap, processes, and related delivery materials.

It is not a public social product. Access is limited to people who create an account and are connected to a client workspace through an invite.

What we collect

Account details you provide when you sign up or sign in, such as your email address and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our auth provider.

Portal membership details, including invite email, client workspace link, and role (for example owner or member).

Client project content we prepare or upload for your engagement. That can include business name, audit findings, opportunities, process maps, roadmaps, tasks, and notes shown in the portal.

Basic technical data needed to run the site, such as session information for sign in, and light interface preferences (for example sidebar open or closed).

If you book a call through Cal.com, that booking service collects the details you submit on their form under their own terms.

How we use it

To authenticate you and show the client workspace you are invited to.

To deliver and update your AI audit materials, roadmap, processes, and related portal content.

To communicate with you about your engagement when needed.

To keep the service secure and working, including preventing unauthorized access.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use portal contents for unrelated marketing lists.

Who can see it

You and other members invited to the same client workspace.

Hector Garcia and Hexgar operators working on your engagement.

Service providers that host or power the portal. Today that includes Convex for the database, auth, and backend, and the host that serves this website. Cal.com handles booking data if you schedule a call.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the security of the service or someone’s rights.

Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies or similar storage for authentication sessions so you stay signed in.

We may store simple UI preferences in the browser, such as whether the sidebar is open.

We do not run third party advertising trackers on the portal.

How long we keep it

Account and portal content stay available while your engagement is active and the workspace remains in the system.

If an engagement ends, we may archive or delete the workspace and related account access. You can ask us to delete or correct information sooner using the contact below.

Invite records and basic security logs may be kept for a limited time for abuse prevention and audit trail needs.

Your choices

You can update account details available in the portal settings where those controls exist.

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal or contractual limits (for example records we must keep for the engagement).

You can stop using the portal and request that your membership be removed.

Email contact@hexgarcia.com for privacy requests. We will respond in a reasonable time.

Security

We use access controls so only invited members and operators can reach a client workspace. Transport is encrypted with HTTPS.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Please use a strong unique password and keep your invite links private.

Children

The portal is for business clients and their teams. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this page when the product or our practices change. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the portal after an update means you accept the revised policy.
